DATA COLLECTION AND USE
At no point in time during the repair or testing process does NexTech Repair or any employee or affiliate ever access the customer’s device’s stored data without authorized consent.
The employee performing the repair is professionally trained and will never use this training to access, edit, or distribute the customer’s information and data that is pre-existing on the device that is being repaired unless otherwise instructed by the customer to do so.
Device backups may be stored on our computer in a local directory and will never be accessed, distributed, or used in any other way. Device backups only apply to devices being restored, updated, jailbroken, or modified in a way the customer asks.
All device backups are deleted on a monthly basis. We hold the right to record device model names, colors, and serial numbers for storage in our database.
CUSTOMER DATA USE
When you place an order on our website, NexTech Repair requests and provides your name, billing address, and credit/debit card information to our payment authorizer to validate and charge your card.
When NexTech Repair processes your order for shipping, we only use your name, shipping address, phone number and email address to ship your order.
THIRD-PARTY DATA ACCESS
NexTech Repair will never sell, distribute, transfer or share any customer information with any third party or outside sources unless legally required to.
The term “outside parties” does not include NexTech Repair or NexTech Enterprises, Inc. We also reserve the right to release your information when necessary to comply with law enforcement entities, enforce our site policies, or protect our or others’ rights, property, or safety.
Non-identifying customer information may be used in analytics and reports and may be shared with third parties. All customer data is stored and saved in encrypted locations.
DATA PARTICIPATION
You own your personally-identifying information and have the right to control our access to it. You may also request to have any customer information that may be stored within our database to be removed at any time for any reason upon written request. We are not responsible for data loss, whether intentional or unintentional, that may occur for any reason.
